IT'S HAPPENING!  CHIRP Radio will launch our broadcast for the first time over the Chicago airwaves at 107.1 FM on OCTOBER 21!!!

This is a goal we've been working towards since the organization was founded in 2007, and we are so excited for this new opportunity we've worked tirelessly to achieve. To celebrate this milestone, I'm trying to raise $1071 for CHIRP in 2017. Help me hit my goal with a gift of $10, $25, $50, or more today!

CHIRP Radio is a non-profit, commercial-free, independent radio station here in Chicago. We broadcast live for 18 hours per day, 365 days per year. The station is run by two part-time staff and over 200 volunteers. I have been a volunteer with the station since August of 2008, a board member since 2010, and I have donated over 2000 hours of my time to help build this organization from the ground-up and watch it grow into the awesome community resource that it is today.

Help me hit my fundraising goal between September 11 and September 22, and I'll make you a super fun mix CD full of sweet jams. I'll also include you in a raffle for a special individualized prize—just for my donors!  PLUS!  Everyone who gives during the course of this drive will receive an automatic entry into a drawing for a Downtown Weekend Out: a two-night stay in an exclusive loft room at the brand new Ace Hotel, breakfast included, and dinner at City Mouse!

Your support now will help cover the additional expenses we're going to incurr by taking over the airwaves at 107.1 FM next month, but it will also allow us to keep cranking out the tunes live at chirpradio.org.
